Hello! I'm Mrs. Tappan, owner of Coquí Kids Bilingual Preschool.
I'm thrilled to welcome you! Alongside the amazing teachers in Preschool Club, I’ll be your child’s personal preschool teacher. That means once you join, I’ll stay closely connected with you to ensure your child’s experience is smooth, fun, and enriching.
I hold a degree in Elementary Education and bring nine years of classroom teaching experience, including four years specializing in dual-language education. I’m passionate about nurturing the whole child—supporting not only academic growth but also emotional and social development.
At Coquí Kids Bilingual Preschool, my approach to bilingual education is grounded in the belief that early exposure to multiple languages offers lifelong benefits—boosting cognitive development, fostering empathy, and strengthening cultural identity.
